Irrawaddy Forever Try
{POEM}
Where does the wandering confluence current gush?
Conjoin May Kha & May Li Kha, rivulets start!
From the hills above Irrawaddy heart,
The ripples among the rushes
To and fro of Burmese transaction Arts
Of all ages commercial hub
Now that Hydro-power sucks blood of Irra-bubbles,
While it’s pristine wild-beauty is full of troubles
Scare could bathe Irrawaddy stars.
Hey! People here rarely seek fast-moving Dolphin blare.
And expressing plight in whispering tears
Give Irrawaddy unquiet ears
From our firm grip fists that drop tears
Learning softly out
Over the young two rivulet streams burst out
Come away, O Irrawaddy child!
To the waters and the wild
Against Myitsone-Dam Project, People in natural mind
With a faery, hands in hands forever try
Irrawaddy must never die.

Heart touched by Poet named Min Maung (Samurai),
