Turning a New Year Leaf
Dedication to 2012 Happy New Year
(Dedication to Myanmar New Year)
{POEM}
Go and get turning a New Year Leaf
Withered away the old leaves change
Run counting the twelvemonth’s again
Let’s care to-day, not be a grey day
Shinning and brightening New Year Day
To wheel usual day-in-and-out routine
As usual adjust the impaired machine.
The exhausted year has gradually passed
The effort New Year has turned in a rush
From the every chimney high above
At the dead of the old year passing night
“Chime out! Chime out!” come forth
To whom the bell rings most, welcome host
In case failure, round together as courage swot.
Initially, what have yesternight events delivered?
Eventful of untold-suffering happened ever,
Leave or grab for “Old year has gone for ever.”
“The passing moment’s all we rest on!”
Yes or No: Or why regard the passing year?
Rest on—for what? What do we lead here?
For what is from the First to the Last day to come?
Let us the important now employ like live as
those who never die.
Even if the future life for people sake in world unknown,
Public and we must take its hue and cry past made known:
Whatever says whether as heavenly glory bright home,
Or takes dark as Misery’s woeful night from this alone;
Others now denounce our chief aim as conceivable regard
Enjoying Sun-rise-and-set, we wait due fruitful reward.
